I see people often asking how to do this, but all the tutorials are for PS. Clip Studio’s doesn’t look as good, but you can do a similar pattern on it too! It's specially useful if CSP is the program you use to draw

1) Your canvas should be 2000px or bigger. It looks bad on small images in my opinion, but it’s workable too.

2) Open a new layer and use the [Gradient tool] on it. Pick [Front color to transparent] and set your color to black.

3)Click [Layer properties]. It uusually appears next to the Layers’ icon, but if you don’t see it go to [Windows] on the navibar and open it from there.

4) Select [Halftone] and then set [Frequency] to 5. The smaller the frecuency, the bigger the dots.

And that’s it! It’s not perfect, but it works.

If you want to change its color, simply make a [Clipping Layer] over it and fill it with any color.
If the gradient is already being Clipped to another layer, hide every layer but the pattern & the color one and merge both of them.

Btw down on the [Halftone] menu you can pick a shape other than circle! It’s fun to play around
